Where to eat in Monticchiello

Daria — Refined Tuscan cooking
One of Monticchiello’s best-known restaurants, combining traditional Tuscan flavours with a more contemporary approach. The focus is on quality local ingredients, handmade pasta, meat and regional produce. A very good choice for a special dinner.

Osteria La Porta — Classic Monticchiello experience
Set near the entrance to the village, La Porta is probably Monticchiello’s most famous osteria. Expect beautifully prepared Tuscan dishes including pici, slow-braised meats, local cheeses and bistecca, accompanied by an excellent selection of Tuscan wines. The setting and views are part of the experience.

Osteria Fra Paolino — Atmospheric traditional osteria
A lovely choice for traditional Tuscan food in an intimate setting, including a 15th-century cellar. It has the warm, rustic atmosphere people hope to find in a small Tuscan village, with a menu focused firmly on the cooking of the region.

Deb's Lounge — Something a little more special
A small, highly regarded restaurant offering a more intimate and contemporary dining experience. Dishes remain rooted in Tuscany — think fresh pasta, truffles and beautifully prepared meats — but the presentation and experience are more refined. Current diner ratings are exceptionally strong.
